MyListing doesn’t provide a way to hide listing content based on its claimed status, so website owners are forced to make tough decisions. MyListing Pro allows you to hide listing content at a granular level, with just the flip of a switch, so you can boost your site monetization.

Cover Details

Listing Type > Single Page > Cover Details Use the Hide Until Verified toggle to hide the following:
  • Details: Individual active details
  • Actions: Individual calls-to-action

Quick Actions

Listing Type > Single Page > Quick Actions Use the Hide Until Verified toggle to hide the desired actions. Note: Listing types start with all quick actions enabled. Move the desired Quick Actions under the Active Quick Actions area to obtain access to the Hide Until Verified toggles.

Content & Tabs

Listing Type > Single Page > Content & Tabs MyListing Pro gives you the option to hide entire content tabs or select content within a tab, like blocks, table rows, etc. Content Tabs
  1. Add the desired tabs to the Tabs area
  2. Edit the tab
  3. Use the Hide Until Verified toggle to hide the tab
Content Tab Elements
  1. Insert the desired block into the tab
  2. Edit the block
  3. Use the Hide Until Verified toggle to hide the entire block or use the toggle to hide select items, like individual table and detail rows

Listing Reviews

MyListing Pro > Verified Listing Reveal > Reviews
  • Site users cannot submit reviews for unverified listings
  • Site admins can always submit reviews
  • Site admins can customize the locked reviews text (e.g., “Reviews are only permitted once a listing has been claimed.”)
  • Existing reviews remain visible
  • Site admin can prevent replies to existing reviews

If the content still shows, despite your having set it to be hidden, clear all levels of caching (CDN, server, plugin, etc.) and ensure you’re viewing the listing as a non-administrator.
