Frequently Asked Questions

There’s nothing to configure with this module—once it’s enabled, you can access the new icons and enjoy an improved taxonomy icon experience.
All MyListing icons, whether they’re the icons assigned with shortcodes (**Theme Tools > Shortcodes >** Icon) or a taxonomy (Category, Region, Tag, or Custom Taxonomy).
At this time, this module only works with MyListing icons. If you want to use, say, Hugeicons (included with this module) with Elementor, you have some options.Option 1: Hugeicons WordPress Plugin (Paid)
  1. Sign up for a Hugeicons Pro Plan
  2. From your site, search for and install the free Hugeicons plugin
  3. WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Hugeicons > Add your license key
Option 2: Manual (Free)
  1. Hugeicons Font Generator
  2. Create a free account
  3. Leave the default style of “Stroke,” if you want to match the Hugeicons style included with the MyListing Icons module
  4. Select the icons you want. (Try to choose every icon you think you’ll need. You can always go back and add more, but you will need to repeat this process.)
  5. Click Generate Font
  6. Font Name > This is actually a folder name that will be referenced in Elementor, so choose something like “Hugeicons Set 1” just in case you need to add new icons later, in which case you could name the next folder “Hugeicons Set 2,” for example
  7. Toggle ON Elementor Compatible Icon Set
  8. Leave the default prefix (recommended: hgi)
  9. Click Confirm & Generate
  10. WordPress > Elementor > Editor > Settings > Icons > Add New Set
  11. Icon Set Name > Same name as Step #6, just to keep things simple
  12. Upload the ZIP file downloaded from Hugeicons
After you assign an icon to a taxonomy, you may need to refresh the page, and then your icons will display.
This module is a back-end solution, so there’s nothing to see on the front end. Check out the MyListing Pro YouTube playlist to learn more about this module.
