# MyListing Tweaks

> Supercharge your MyListing directory website with powerful general enhancements.

## Show Listing Type Slug Column

Every MyListing listing type has an internal slug, such as **event**, **place**, **job**, etc.

You often need a listing type slug for custom code, snippets, and support work. By default, the listing types table in the WordPress dashboard does not show it, which means extra steps to find out what a listing type's slug is.

**MyListing Pro adds a slug column to the listing types table, saving you time and providing a quick reference for auditing your listing type slugs.**

The setting is **off by default**. Nothing changes until you enable the **MyListing Tweaks** module and toggle on the **Show Listing Type Slug Column** setting.

You can hide the column anytime with **Screen Options** while keeping the setting on.

## Unhide Submenu Icons

MyListing hides icons on submenu links in the default MyListing header, even when you assign them in Appearance → Menus. That makes nested items harder to scan and wastes work you already did on menu icons.

**MyListing Pro lets you easily display those icons.**

## **Disable Loading Spinner Icon**

MyListing shows a spinning icon as certain areas of the website are loading, and it's a highly unprofessional look. We've seen it appear over the listing results area whenever Explore fetches new results, while saving listings, when performing a search from the header, and more.

**MyListing Pro lets you remove the spinner, providing a less distracting and more professional experience.**

## <br />Scope Hide Empty Terms To Listing Type

MyListing includes a **Hide Empty** **Terms** feature within **Advanced Search Forms** and **Explore Tabs** for a particular listing type.

**The above is great if you have only one listing type for your site, but the premise falls apart the moment you have even two listing types.** That's because MyListing takes into account every listing on the site, not just those published under a particular listing type.

**MyListing Pro address this, so your search form dropdowns, checkbox filters, and Explore category tabs only show filters for listings that actually exist within a given listing type and taxonomy.**
