# Add Listing Flow

> Frictionless listing onboarding that converts more customers.

## Checkout Before Listing

MyListing requires users to add their listing before paying you, which isn’t the flow that customers and especially site owners expect.

**MyListing Pro lets you collect payment first, preventing users from abandoning the onboarding process so you can convert more customers.**

### Skip Free Packages

This feature is an optional setting that allows your customers with free listing subscription packages to skip the checkout process and go straight to the Add Listing Form for a better user experience.

Once the module is enabled, you'll simply choose your Add Listing page and optionally choose to allow customers to skip the checkout for free listing packages.

The Add Listing page is a core MyListing page that has the **27 > Add Listing Form** Elementor widget configured.

## Drag to Reposition Cover Image

Uploading a cover image is easy. Getting the position right is harder.

With MyListing Pro, listing owners can drag the cover image into the desired position when adding and editing a listing. What they see in the editor matches the cover image on the live listing.

**Highlights**

* **Better first impressions:** The cover is the first thing visitors see. Listing owners can highlight the best part of their cover image instead of accepting the default positioning.
* **Self-service:** Listing owners can fix their cover image framing without having to edit images or ask you for assistance.
* **Familiar workflow:** Simple drag interaction, similar to setting a profile or banner photo on social sites.
* **Honest preview:** The editor uses the same cover shape as the live listing page, so owners know what they are getting.
* **Smart guidance:** The tool only allows dragging in directions that actually change the image and shows a short hint so owners know when the image can be repositioned horizontally or vertically.

## Flipping Boxes Listing Counter

Show directory presence and engagement to encourage more listings.

MyListing doesn't provide a way to show how many listings are published for a particular listing type within the Add Listing flipping cards.

**MyListing Pro lets you show the listing count and choose the text and style.**

### Custom Count Labels

Once enabled, this module will automatically display labels for your convenience (e.g., Published Listings), but you have the freedom to use any text for your labels.

### Count Label Styler

Now that you can display the counter labels, you might want to style them. You can set the font color, size, weight, and line height as desired.

## **Custom Message for Pending Listings**

When the **Require admin approval of all new listing submissions** setting is enabled in MyListing (**Listings →** Settings), users who submit a new listing see a success message stating their listing was submitted and will appear after approval. Unfortunately, the message leaves the user wondering where to go to view their account and check the status of their pending listing.

**MyListing Pro solves this issue by letting you customize the message without touching any code.** You can use basic HTML as well, linking to the account page (/my-account/), for example.

The setting is **off by default**. When it is off, MyListing shows its usual message. This setting applies to **new listing submissions** only. Relisting, switching plans, editing listings, and checkout messages will remain as provided by MyListing.
